At Toys2 we believe that childhood is a precious time in ones life. As learning starts from birth, children must be encouraged to learn to explore their world through touch, smell, and taste. One of the reasons why some children have short attention spans and desire constant entertainment could be to do with the increasing time children spend watching TV and the exposure to moving, noise making battery toys from birth. Rather than try to hold your child's attention with noises and movement, wooden toys require that they engage their imagination - just think of the difference between a book and a movie and you will have the theory about right. Wooden toys require 'Active learning' where many modern toys are more passive - designed to be brought by parents rather than played with by children. To the uninitiated, wooden toys can look boring next to a radio controlled car or robot but we you can be assured that all our toys including our Wooden Toy range do not require batteries, and are unlikely to end up buried in the bottom of your child’s toy box.
